How is the information inscribed? The information is engraved using a powerful computer controlled laser. The laser engraves to a depth of approximately 1/16 inch. The result is a clean inscription that is true to the font.

What kind of wood is used? We use first quality natural Maple wood, sourced from mills in Massachusetts. The raw materials are hand selected and each block is hand made by a professional local woodworker. Natural wood contains natural wood grains and occasionally there will be natural wood marks. While we keep these marks to a minimum, you can expect some variation in wood grains.

How long will it take to make? Your order will generally be completed in under one week. An email will be sent to you when your order is shipped. Let us know if you need rush service.

Can I request custom images, custom fonts or custom inscriptions? Yes, certain products can be further customized. Simply email us with your request. We will provide a custom quote and delivery timeframe.

How many letters can I fit in the inscription? Approximately 30 characters per side of block. We will contact you if your inscription is too long.

Can you engrave images? Yes. If you are looking for a certain type of image, we can help you find something that will laser well. If you already have an image you’d like to see engraved, email us a file in black and white and we’ll let you know if it’s going to work. Preferably black and white line art and at least 300 dpi.

Can you show me a proof via email before I order? Yes, just send us an email with the inscription and product. We can email you a black and white proof so you can get an idea of how your item will look.
